Privacy Policy

The short version

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type in - dimensions, quantities, prices, or anything else - are never transmitted to a server, logged, or stored anywhere outside your own device. When you close or reload the page, they're gone.

What we store locally

The only piece of information this site saves on your device directly is your light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser's localStorage. That value never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us. This is separate from the analytics described below, which Google collects on its own servers, not in local storage.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and how many people visit. It doesn't run until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you reject it, or close the banner without choosing, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent. Once accepted, Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location (from IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you view. This site has no advertising or remarketing, so Google never receives anything beyond that. This is separate from the calculator inputs described above. What you type into a calculator is never sent anywhere, tracked, or logged, by Google Analytics or anything else. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across websites using Google's browser add-on, or block it with most ad-blocking or privacy browser extensions.

Standard web hosting logs

Like virtually any website, this site's hosting provider may automatically collect basic technical information with every page request - such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited - for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. This is standard server-log behavior, not something this site's code adds, and it is separate from the calculator inputs described above, which never reach a server at all.

Changes to this policy

If this site adds analytics, advertising, or any feature that changes what data is collected, this page will be updated to describe it before that change ships.
